Climbing shoes with the right fit are essential for a pleasant and effective climbing session. When purchasing climbing shoes it's very important that the climbing shoe fits seamlessly and that your feet have no wiggle room in the shoe. In almost all cases, this means a shoe size that is not the same as your normal shoe size. Half a size smaller, or maybe even a whole size or two is pretty normal in the world of climbing.

There are a lot of climbing shoe brands, and each brand is a little bit different when it comes to shoe size. that's why it's very important to figure out which brand you're interested in before buying climbing shoes. For example, La Sportiva climbing shoes are often worn two sizes smaller than street shoes, and Scarpa one size smaller. The Evolv brand, on the other hand, is quite close to the street shoe size.
