After a long tour on El Cap in the Yosemite Valley, the topic came up again with climbers Stefan Glowacz and Uwe Hofstädter; those tight climbing shoes. Still on the wall, the idea arose to make a shoe that could be worn without excruciating pain. A shoe that made climbing more fun and painful. So, listening to their favorite band, they decided to create Red Chili. Since then they have expanded to produce high-end, all-round and even children's climbing shoes, as well as clothing and equipment. A real tastemaker in the climbing world.
